You'd be hard-pressed to hear Sebadoh or the Afghan Whigs on anything but a college station. Let's be honest with ourselves here: just how "alternative" were Pearl Jam/Soundgarden/Alice in Chains/Foo Fighters/STP in the '90s? I can turn on any rock station in the country and hear them.
